Equality, Justice, Learning, Growth

The Alberta Network of Immigrant Women connects and empowers immigrant women across Alberta, leading initiatives to foster equity, justice, and learning. The organisation shares its innovative research on issues impacting the integration of immigrant women into Canadian society and collaborates with partners to implement recommendations.

A proud history of empowering immigrant women since 1986
and a future of even greater possibilities.

In the spirit of respect, we acknowledge Moh’kinsstis and the traditional Treaty 7 territory, including the Blackfoot Confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, the Iyarhe Nakoda, and Tsuut’ina nations. This land is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, within the historic Northwest Métis homeland. We recognize all Nations, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, who call this place home and celebrate its significance.

This gathering place is an opportunity for reconciliation and leadership. Thank you for joining the Alberta Network of Immigrant Women on Treaty 7 territory.
