The program focuses on creating a pathway for immigrant women in non-regulated professions to review and achieve their career goals. The program delivers workshops, one on one consultation, referrals and mentorship opportunities.

Workshops include:

• Analysis of personal of personal goals
• Labour market information
• Opportunities for personal goal setting
• Overcoming personal, social and systemic barriers

The Community Conversation: Collective strategies to address biased hiring’ was held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, in Calgary, Alberta.). The event created an opportunity for stakeholders to come together to discuss and reimagine a hiring system that is working to remove the numerous barriers immigrant women face when seeking employment. The objective of the event was to raise awareness of biases in hiring practices and how they impact immigrant women. Thank you to everyone who has made this event possible.
